Restaurants in shopping malls

A significant change has to happen in the shopping malls' offer in the coming years. Because of the gradual market saturation and small offer differentiation, clients will be more drawn by the offer from "the lifestyle department". Entertainment, wellness and gastronomy will increase their shares in malls. It is estimated that this sector will take up 30 to 40 percent of the total floor area. 

The offer of bars, restaurants and coffee places is particularly important. This area is now the second most important reason for a visit to the mall. We can already see works and extension in these areas in the major malls (like Arkadia or Galeria Mokotow). This trend will also be visible in smaller and local markets.
