Pre-walls and walls of stores in shopping centers

The standard store heights in shopping centers are generally 3.5-4.0 m. However, what can not be seen above the suspended ceiling (if present) is that above it we still have another meters to the ceiling, which can occur at 6.0 - 7.0 and higher meters from the floor. For example, the currently constructed Galeria Młociny has a height of 7.5 on the first floor. These heights determine many design solutions, the costs of which can be hidden and are not obvious when signing a lease agreement.

This applies, among others, selection of the appropriate pre-walls and walls separating individual rooms of a premises.

In general, shopping center guideline is to mount such floor-ceiling walls. Such anchoring forces the proper selection of system solutions available on the market in order to maintain the appropriate load-bearing capacity and stiffness of the structure.

The experience gathered over the years in the design of stores in almost all major shopping centers in Poland allows us not only to make the right choice of solutions at the stage of executive design, but also in the concept phase to predict additional unexpected costs and help the investor properly estimate the cost of the investment.
